Vegetarian Russian Salad

This is one of the salad with great nutrition and taste.

Ingredients for salad

  1. 1 cup of boiled beans, carrot and great peas
  2. I boiled potato
  3. 1/2 cup boiled beetroot
  4. 1/2 cup apple
  5. 1/2 cup pineapple

ingredients for Dressing/mayonnaise

  1. 1tbs butter/ghee
  2. 1 tbs maida/wheat flour
  3. 1 cup milk
  4. 1/2 tbs black pepper
  5. 1 tbs sugar
  6. 1/2 tbs lemon juice
  7. 1 tbs olive oil
  8. 1/2 tbs salt

Method for Mayonnaise -Dressing

  1. Add butter in a kadai.
  2. Add maida/wheat flour
  3. Sorte it for 2 minutes
  4. Now, add milk. Stir it for 2 minutes OR till it gets thickened.
  5. Turn the gas OFF.
  6. Now add, salt to taste, 1/2 tbs black pepper, 1-1.5tbs sugar, 1/2 tbs lemon juice, 1 tbs olive oil/butter.

Method for Salad
I. The above dressing, add all the mentioned vegetables and fruits.
2. Mix them and garnish.
3. Refrigerate it for an hour and serve it.
