Chinese fried Rice

This is one of the easiest and healthy meal to be made. Children will surely love it.


  1. 2 cups boiled Chinese rice/basmati rice/regular rice
  2. Chopped cabbage
  3. Chopped spring onions
  4. Chopped capsicum
  5. Chopped French beans
  6. Chopped mushrooms (optional)
  7. 1 table spoon chilly sauce
  8. 1/4 tea spoon soya sauce
  9. 1/4 tea spoon ajinomoto (optional - not a healthy ingredient, but enhances the taste of the recipe)
  10. 1 table spoon oil
  11. Salt to taste


  1. Take 1 table spoon oil in kadai and heat it moderately.
  2. Add spring onions, carrots and French beans and mushrooms (vegetables should be dipped in water before adding into kadai.This will maintain the color of the vegetables )
  3. Add ajinomoto and stir for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add cabbage. Again stir for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add boiled rice, salt, chilly sauce, soya sauce.
  6. Stir for a minute and serve hot.
